Adair-Major Consulting is a specialist technology consultancy working with mid-size and enterprise organisations across the UK and the US. We exist because too many organisations invest in technology platforms and never see the return they expected. Without the right operating model, ownership, and ways of working, that investment underdelivers. Our mission is to help organisations close that gap across digital operations, technology adoption, and data.
My
Story
I'm Anne, Director of Adair-Major Consulting. I'm a digital operations and technology consultant with over 16 years of experience across IT service management, digital transformation, and data, working with organisations in the UK, Ireland, India, and the US.
I've worked in technology since 2008, and the thing that drew me to it in the first place is still what drives me now. I love seeing how technology changes the way people work and what businesses can do. I said exactly that in my first graduate interview, before "digital transformation" was even a phrase anyone used. Nearly two decades later, I'm still saying the same thing, and I still mean it.

I started Adair-Major Consulting in 2020 because I saw the same pattern everywhere I went: organisations would invest in technology, but their ways of working wouldn't keep up. What inevitably happened was costs rose, reporting got messy, adoption stalled, and leaders spent more time chasing answers than making decisions. I wanted to be the kind of consultant I'd always looked for but never quite found, someone who could sit in a board meeting in the morning and get into user research, solution design, or process creation in the afternoon, and see both as equally important to delivering value.
​How I work
Most of my engagements start the same way. Something isn't working the way it should, whether that's a platform, a reporting setup, or a way of working, and nobody can quite pinpoint why. My first priority is always to understand the gap between the vision and what's actually going on. I use data and direct feedback from the people closest to the work to get to the real issue, and I'm straightforward about what I find, presenting options based on the true findings.

From there, that might mean presenting costed options to your leadership team one week and rebuilding a data model or redesigning a process the next. I work as a direct extension of your team, or alongside existing delivery partners you already have in place, whatever fits your requirements.

Every client I've worked with has chosen to either extend the engagement or bring me back for another project, and I think that's because accountability stays with me throughout. When a project needs specialist skills beyond my own, I bring in trusted experts from my network, but the aim is always the same: build something that works and lasts beyond the engagement.
Supporting Credentials
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Digital Leadership from Warwick Business School, awarded with Distinction. I chose the programme because I had enough qualifications where the goal was to memorise, and I wanted a space to question and explore digital strategy from a commercial and academic perspective. That probably tells you more about my personality than most of this page. I am proud that I was selected for the Change Maker Scholarship and voted Student of the Year by my peers.

I use common frameworks across delivery. I'm a certified ITIL 4 Strategic Leader and Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst, which is an unusual combination that reflects how I work across both operational strategy and hands-on data delivery. I also hold certifications in ServiceNow, PRINCE2, and Agile.​
